Q: Is the slippage setting for auto-sell orders the same as for manual trades?

No. Manual trade slippage is configured in the Settings menu. Auto TP/SL trade slippage is configured separately in the Auto TP/SL section.

Q: How can I make sure my slippage setting is appropriate?

Always start with a lower slippage. If your transactions keep failing with a slippage exceeded error, gradually increase the slippage value until your trades succeed.
